Quercus Road, Tetbury

The Project: We were appointed by a landowners to work with a planning consultant to develop a scheme for a residential development on the edge of Tetbury.

The Brief: The site was identified as being for ‘Commercial Use’ however over the past fifteen years despite several schemes for a commercial use gaining planning approval the site has remained undeveloped. As such the owner is now seeking to dispose of the site for a residential use.

The Solution: In conjunction with SF Planning we submitted an application for a new development of 50 homes on the edge of Tetbury. The development was designed to complement its semi-rural location making both reference to the local vernacular architectural style and Cotswold District Council’s Design Guide. A mix of house types were proposed for both open market and social provision. As part of the planning process the scheme was presented at a public consultation meeting and feedback sought to enable the scheme to be refined.
